So today was my buddy Nate's B-day bash. I had a real good time chatting with old friends that I used to work with. I miss them! I miss having people to talk to at work. At least I got email! I bug them all the time at work.

Stupid blog

For some reason I can't edit my posts, so here's a pic of the grass. I am also hotter than a mo fo because my AC decided to take a dump last night. Why does this crap happen on weekends when no one is working to come fix it???

We saw our first peak of little burmuda grass sprouts poking out yesterday! We did it! And there was a significant growth spurt since last night. I can't take any credit because Chris did it all. I dug one hole. But we were worried that it wouldn't work because...well...we have no idea what we were doing! Remind myself to take some pictures.

My tip for the day

NEVER buy from a dealership. Don't allow them to sucker you into it, fight the urge! NO compulsive shopping! Convienet:yes. Worth it:no. You will spend a lot more than you need to. ALWAYS buy a year old or so from a private party. Wait for that person who got suckered a year to realize he made a mistake and buy it from him for a lot less with no tax. Believe me, he will be desperate to get rid of those $600 payments.

New House

So we are all moved into our new place. I am at work so I have no pics to post. It is coming along nicely! The kitchen and living room is almost completely done and the upstairs almost functional. Chris laid grass a few days ago so we are anticipating new growth! I am still waiting for my $150 f'in doggie door. WTF? I ordered it on Tuesday and paid for express shipping. It only took those mo fos 4 days to send it out. What biznatches.

My tip for the day

Ever try to get rid of those unsightly warts with wart remover? They suck! Well...I have had quite a few on my hands during my time. In high school when bored I would douse the little buggers with my bath and body works hand sanitizer that I carried in my purse (original purpose was to mask cigarette smell). The stuff ate it away, and never came back! It literally broke down the mound until it exposed the black vein feeding it. I assume any brand will work.

Thank God she doesn't look like this anymore! Lucy is doing fantastic and back to her old spoiled annoying self. Only after 2 days! Amazing considering that first day was horrible.

My baby Lucy is getting fixed today. I hope she is ok. At least I won't have to call her dribbles no more.

I'm a little sad tonight. We sold our aquarium. No more feeding happy little Nemo in the mornings. No more feeding nasty slimy squid pieces to Eeyore. No more yelling at lepo for killing the other fish. Ahhhh. I bet 200 bucks is going to cheer me up though.
